IEC/TC44は、IEC(国際電気標準会議)の国際標準(IEC規格)の作成作業を分担して行うTC(専門委員会)の一つで、その作業範囲は、機械類の危険源から人を安全に保護するための電気装置及びシステムに関する規格化作業である。
　日機連では、平成10年より、IEC/TC44の国内審議団体として活動している。
