| TSK wins Evaporative Concentration Unit and Liquid Concentrate Incinerator Contract for CSPC Nanhai Petrochemicals Project
Tsukishima Kikai Co., Ltd. (Headquarters : 2-17-15 Tsukuda, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) announced that they had won an EPC turn-key lump sum contract from CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals Company Limited (CSPC), on the Evaporative Concentration Unit and Liquid Concentrate Incinerator for the CSPC Nanhai Petrochemicals Project. This facility will concentrate and incinerate liquid wastes from the SM/PO plants.
TSK has won this project with CTCI Overseas Corporation Ltd.(COC), a Chinese subsidiary of CTCI Corporation--one of the largest engineering firms in Taiwan. TSK is going to undertake such services as basic design, detail engineering review and supply of the major equipment, while CTCI Overseas Corporation Ltd. is to undertake detail engineering, supply of the local equipment and materials as well as construction.
The contract amount is approximately J.Yen 4 billion, and TSK is going to take the leadership of the consortium towards the contract completion scheduled in March 2005.
This is TSK’s third liquid waste incineration project for the Shell International Petrochemicals affiliates including Seraya Chemicals in Singapore. TSK will promote sales of its waste liquid incineration as one of its major products in future, and also will expand its sales in China of EPC services like waste liquid incineration, taking advantage of the above achievement.
